This remarkable initiative aims to revolutionize education in Kenya, fostering global connections and preparing students for the ever-evolving digital age.
Empowering Schools in Kenya
Kenya is among the world’s 50 poorest nations. There is limited internet access for most Kenyan children. Schools struggle to go digital, and millions miss out on educational opportunities. MoMo Education’s vision for change empowers schools with internet and digital services. Building connected learning communities and expanding access to quality education worldwide.
Successful Events in 2023
In 2023, we’ve orchestrated a series of highly successful events to further our mission. These events included two comprehensive training sessions held in Nairobi and Nakuru, which brought together over 40 volunteers, coordinators, and teachers from sister schools across Kenya. Additionally, numerous online meetings were conducted with both Kenyan and Dutch coordinators to facilitate collaboration and knowledge sharing.
Student Action Day and Digital Education
One of the highlights of our year was the Student Action Day, which coincided with The Day of the African Child on June 3rd and was hosted in Vihiga. This event served as a powerful testament to the widespread recognition of the importance of digital education in schools. MoMo Education passionately assumes responsibility for ensuring that as many children as possible gain access to this transformative form of learning.
